SALES EXPERIENCE

3M- INDUSTRIAL AND SAFETY SALES INTERN

May 27, 2019- August 9, 2019

As an industrial and safety sales intern for 3M, I had access to a very broad portfolio of products, including ear protection, abrasives, and adhesives. 

By the end of my internship, I had identified $3.1 million in opportunity for my region through 79 channel and end-user sales calls. I also worked in a group to developed a market strategy for 3M to combat SAP-specific erosion.

NCSC- SEMIFINALIST

April 5, 2019

I was able to advance to the semifinal round, helping Baylor place 3rd overall out of 72 competing universities

Competitors participated in several sales role plays to sell Gartner services to multiple buyers. Judges scored competitors on needs identification, product knowledge, etc. 

BAYLOR BBVA- 10th PLACE

March 19, 2019

I was able to place 10th out of 83 other students in the BBVA (Baylor Business Value Analysis), an internal competition.

Competitors were prompted to prepare a virtual value analysis for the incorporation of 3M's DP260 water filtration system into an entire chain of convenience stores. Videos were judged by 82 corporate partners, advisory board members, and business executives.

BAYLOR PDP- GUEST SPEAKER

September 9, 2018

As a guest speaker for Baylor's PDP (Professional Development Program), I was invited to share my summer internship experience with Baylor business students. 

I was able to develop my public speaking skills while mentoring other business students either searching for or entering into Summer internships.  

OWENS CORNING- ROOFING SALES INTERN

May 15, 2018- August 3, 2018

As a roofing sales intern, I was responsible for maintaining, growing, and prospecting for contractor accounts. 

Throughout the duration of my internship, I made 793 calls and improved my pitch rate from 11% to 25%. I also created a sales negotiations calculator in order to improve overall pitch quality. 

BROTHERS MANAGEMENT- LEASING AGENT

February 2, 2018- Present

As a leasing agent, I was responsible for prospecting, developing existing relationships, and closing on rental units. 

During my time at Brothers Management, I oversaw 489 properties, conducted 92 tours, and converted 22 prospects into residents.
